I spent the last few days at the Baltic Sea. I was lucky to watch two Iceland gulls, one on the Polish coast (Ustka), the second on the Russian coast (Baltiysk). Below I posted some pictures.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to observe a beautiful adult Kittiwake on the Nielisz Reservoir (Zamosc district). The bird kept in one place so that I could make a few sketches and photos into an painting which I intend to do in the future. The Black-legged Kittiwake is a rarity in Poland and is subject to reporting to the Avifaunistic Commission.

I've finished my Aquatic Warbler on the top of Great Fen sedge for commission. During the summer I visited Roskosz Nature Reserve and I made sketches and some photos of Aquatic Warbler for this illustration. It's acrylics on paper, 24 x 30 cm

I've spent all Monday watching birds in Krowie Bagno marsh near Polesie National Park.

My main target were Shore larks and it took a one hour to find first birds. I was fortunate to be able to watch these birds in a flocks of 22 (Andrzejow) and 20 (Kulczyn).

They were quite close, max approximately 30 meters.

Besides, I saw flock of 42 Stock Doves and 2 small flocks of Greylag Goose (first in this year).

I've spent all Sunday watching and sketching birds on agriculture fields near Borzechow.
My main target were Shore larks, but there was mainly Corn buntings (large flock of 220), Yellowhammers, Redpolls and Buzzards (8).
